2011 Location: W. Cordova & Thurlow, Downtown Vancouver

Feastro the Rolling Bistro (also known as the purple truck) is now a well-established, 7 days a week food truck operating on the corner of W. Cordova and Thurlow. We’re right across from the famous Olympic Torch, which is right next to the Pan Pacific Hotel and current Conference Centre for Vancouver.

It’s a great location and we’ve made many new friends, from visitors to Vancouver, to regular customers and fans from the nearby businesses. There’s even one regular – and by regular, we mean EVERY DAY, who comes all the way from Gastown to eat lunch with Feastro. We love stories like that!

If you are visiting and have an open schedule, outside of the noon hour rush is recommended. From about 11:30 to 1:30 we’ve become a magnet for office workers wanting to eat healthy and not sacrifice on variety or pay a fortune to eat well. The rest of the time we’re serving up great food from one of the Vancouver street food scene’s largest menus in a food truck.

We still use the same fresh greens and produce from Henry Reed Farm on BC’s Sunshine Coast. They’re picked every morning at first light and brought over from the Coast via BC Ferries and one of our tremendously dedicated sous chefs. You literally won’t get a fresher meal on the go anywhere in the city. We still smoke our own salmon, pulled pork, chicken and other specials, and EVERYTHING is made on the truck, with a fanatical approach to quality and value.

Please come by and say hello, and try a new dish today!
