Whales, Sun, and Food Networking
June has been an amazing month for Davis Bay and Feastro. We’re attracting new fans daily for our regularly updated Facebook page and it’s great to see the comments and participation in response to posts.
Three grey whales have been cruising up and down the beach of Davis Bay and around Mission Point for the last five days, attracting throngs of sightseers and jamming up the Highway from our corner right up to the start of the hill into Selma Park. They are coming so close to shore they appear to be beaching themselves, but they’re always back in deeper water to prove they’re really all right.
Did you know that Feastro was one of 8 Sunshine Coast businesses featured in the Vancouver Sun’s Life section on Saturday, June 26? The article was written by popular writer Randy Shore, through his Green Man Blog. We’ve had a lot of new customers come out to try our ‘haute cuisine on the beach’ – thanks so much to Randy for including us in his article on the search for the perfect fish & chips.
Keep checking back on our site and Facebook… there may be some exciting news about Feastro in the next month or so!
